The Jay G. Cohen Memorial Pupil Alternatives Endowed Scholarship Fund is a memorial scholarship that honors the reminiscence of Jay G. Cohen, a distinguished Baltimore legal professional and proud Terp husband and father. This fund was established to scale back the obstacles to regulation faculty admission for UMD undergraduate college students who’ve each monetary want and demonstrated success on the College of Maryland, and who’ve a powerful curiosity in pursuing a profession as an legal professional. Particularly, this fund will present college students with assets to pay for half (or all) of an LSAT preparation course, and/or for added bills incidental to the regulation faculty admissions course of (e.g. software charges, transportation for visits, and so forth.).
All full-time UMD undergraduate college students are eligible to use, though desire is given to college students of their junior 12 months.
