This program helps native jurisdictions’ efforts to scale back the variety of deaths and accidents of people with types of dementia similar to Alzheimer’s illness or developmental disabilities similar to autism who, because of their situation, wander from protected environments. It gives funding to regulation enforcement and public security companies to implement locative applied sciences to trace lacking people, and to such companies and partnering nonprofit organizations to develop or function packages to stop wandering, enhance people’ security, and facilitate rescues.
